Is there a minimum length of stay in your apartment rentals?

Yes. There is a minimum stay of 6 nights. Departure is on the 7th day morning.

Are there any hidden costs?

All prices are in euros and include everything. The price you are quoted for your stay is the price you will pay. There are no surprise fees, taxes or surcharges. This includes Personal Greeting on arrival, heating, High-Speed Internet, water, gas, electricity, all towels and linens.

Is it possible to arrive at our flat on any week day?

Yes, rentals can begin and end on the day you choose.

Do I need to pack my own travel iron or hairdryer?

All of our properties are provided with ironing board, iron and hairdryer.

Will I need to bring anything for cooking in my rental?

Only the food! All our kitchens are fully outfitted with everything you would need to make a meal at home.

At what time is the check-in?

Most of the time you will be able to check in upon arrival or any time it is requested by you.

Are the apartments air-conditioned?

No the apartments are not airconditioned, but we can provide fans for your convenience.

Can you provide crib, stroller or high chair for guests traveling with young children?

Absolutely, we can provide anything you might need to make your youngest guests comfortable for a small fee. Please be sure to ask.

Are the pictures and views on your site accurate representations of what we will be renting?

Yes. We are consistently maintaining and improving our apartments during the quiet months and we update our pictures regularly. They are provided in good faith and in the belief that they are accurate and based on the latest information we received. However, RB declines all responsibility for any modifications made by the owners without our knowledge.

Is it possible to smoke in the apartments?

Sorry, all our properties are strictly non-smoking.

What is the process to book one of your rental apartments?

First, email us to confirm availability when you are ready to book. We will gladly offer you advices according to your preferences. We ask for a payment at the check-out. Upon booking via email we will send all the necessary information: apartment instructions, greeter information,etc.

Can you stock up the fridge for our arrival?

We always greet our guests with a bottle of Hungarian wine. For a reasonable fee, we will be happy to stock the fridge for you with the following items: fresh bread, Nespresso coffee, cold cut meat (or charcuterie) selection, jam, butter, milk, a selection of Hungarian and French cheeses,fresh orange juice, eggs, mineral water, croissants, rice and pasta. Please contact us if you want to adapt this list to your needs.

Are the apartments serviced?

They are not normally serviced and you are expected to self-cater. We can assist you, on request, with organizing maid service for a 15 euro charge/ cleaning. Normally the property will be cleaned only at the end of your stay.

Do we need to bring linens or towels?

For short term rental all of our homes provide linens and towels, as well as soaps, body lotions, conditioners and shampoos. For the long term (months) we do not provide liniens or towels.

Are your rental apartments located in safe neighborhoods?

Budapest is overall a very safe City and our flats are located in safe neighborhoods. We want you to feel comfortable taking walking on your own. Having said that, we do recommend that you apply the basic rules of safety that you would observe in any foreign city.

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay for your rental by cash after check out or via bank transfer in advance.

If we choose a RoomBudapest apartment rental from you, how do we know you’re legit?

We rent our properties in the most legit way as possible and always write up invoices, and therefore guarantee to stay legal. We’ve started renting out our properties several years ago and since than have hosted a lot of long term and a few short term guests.We are very proud of having returning customers and it is our sincere hope that each new rental is not a one-time deal but the beginning of a relationship that will continue.

Is there anything we need to bring, are your apartments fully equipped?

We want you to feel at home the moment you arrive. We provide everything from towels, bed linens, dishes, cookware, appliances, irons and ironing boards to hair dryers. We try to describe each apartment in detail on our website but feel free to ask for more details on any given property.

When should we book our rental?

Some of our apartments are booked 3-4 months in advance therefore It is safer that you contact us for availability as soon as you know your travel dates.

Is bringing a small pet allowed?

Many guests have allergies and we try to provide an antigen-free environment, therefore we do not allow pets.

Can you recommend good restaurants in the neighborhood?

Upon arrival, we will be happy to direct you to the best neighborhood eateries, as well as bakeries, markets, and anything else that may be of interest to you during you stay.

Are all your apartments centrally located and accessible via public transportation?

Yes. All apartments are located in the heart of Budapest and thus very close to many tourist attractions and business centers. Each apartment is no more than a 5-10 minute walk to a Budapest subway station, tram or a bus stop. Being in the center of Budapest means that your apartment will be within walking distance to many of the major monuments or a short bus ride away or subway.
